EVIE's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!!
I never dreamed being a mom could be such an amazing, uplifting, emotional experience! Evie made me a mommy and that is one of the greatest gifts I have ever been given!
We had her birthday bash in Orlando at Mia and Papi's house. In attendance were, Mia, Papi, Lala, Papa John, Uncles: Jeremy and Sid, Aunts: Meri-Ann, Wendy, and Missy, Jason, Rhonda, Lexie, Gage, Uncle Tony, Aunt Penny, Robin, Stacy, Krista, Zack, Brooke, Nana, Great-Grandma Nancy, Katie, Nick and Sid's girlfriend Annie! WHEW!!!! We had a fantastic time!
EVIE's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!!So she is officially ONE! Cannot believe it! Now I know why they say "don't blink!" Life really does go by soooo quickly! Funny because it seems likes she has always been apart of us, but her life has been so short thus far. I was telling Zach the other day that I can't even remember her being so tiny. I have to remind myself by looking at pictures and videos of when she was a little baby! (like that was so long ago, huh?!)

WHEW!!!! We had a fantastic time! We decorated the house while Evie slept. She woke up around 1:15 and we got her all dressed for her party!!! She was certainly the guest of honor! Everyone was waiting with cameras ready at the bottom of the stairs for her to make her grand entrance!
She did so well opening presents! She sat like a big girl in the chair by herself. I was "oooing" and "awwwing" over each one and I had to speed things up a bit so she didn't get too bored! She loved pulling the tissue out of the bags and seeing what was inside! I felt bad taking the present away as soon as she had opened it!
She didn't get 1,000 toys---THANK GOD! She got some really cute outfits, lots of books (which we love!), a cabbage patch doll, an add a pearl neckalce from Lala and Papa John and even a new playhouse from Mia and Papi...no spoiled child here!

This was later in the day when Mia put Evie in her Chinese birthday outfit and hat---not very pleased as you can tell!
Here she is riding forward-facing for the first time! What a big girl!
It was a long ride home that night...got stuck in traffic around Ocala with rainy roads as well...we had to break out the DVD player and that even stopped working after a while with our fussy child! I thought for sure she would zonk out on the ride home after the long day she had...but NO! AWAKE the whole way!
And when we got home, she was ready for round 3! She ran around naked and thought she was soo funny!
