Sneezes and coughs and fever, OH MY!

It’s been quite a month since little E arrived. Evie and Beckett both had colds when she was born, so we tried to keep them away, but Elin still ended up with a cold…they all seemed to be better until 2 weeks ago when Evie started out with a fever, cough- which she passed on to Beckett 4 days later—which he passed on to Elin (minus the fever).

I spent several hours last weekend in the clinic with Elin to find out she had RSV.  We managed the symptoms at home, revisited the pediatrician during the week and then she passed it on to me!

Zach stayed home from work for the first time ever to take care of all of us!!!  No  rest for the weary…or the moms who nurse their babies!  I slept on the couch while Elin slept in the swing, next to the humidifier-what a mess we had!

We all seem to be on the up and  up, with our lingering coughs, but thanking God we are all better (and Zach was spared!)  Now, time for Christmas!

Here are some pictures since little E’s arrival:

we are cloth diapering and I am loving it!!!!  no more wasting money on disposables (well, only on Beckett til he is potty trained!)  They are a little bulky, but so easy to use!

Elin is still an angel and sleeping a good 5 hour stretch every night. She rarely cries and only gets super upset when she has a poopy diaper. She falls asleep without the aid of a pacifier and for that I am grateful.

She is fitting nicely into newborn clothes, but can do some 0-3 months with the cloth diapers. She weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces at her appointment on Tuesday (but that was not NAKED)…still, she might be our meatiest baby yet!  so  much for IUGR!

I am loving every second of her and trying to remember each smell, touch and moment of having a tiny one around because it goes by sooo fast…I love these kids and my heart is full!
