It's only a few minutes after 8:00. We've been up for 1.5 hours, watched the Care Bear movie, had 2 poptarts, 2 cups of yogurt, cereal and 3 sips of coffee. I really want to finish my coffee...you know, sitting in my easy chair, sipping slowly, watching the light change as the sun rises higher, soaking in the silence (who am I kidding, I'd rather be still snuggled in my cozy bed with Maggie (who jumps in each morning as soon as Zach's feet hit the floor :)
But I do long for some quiet moments...ALONE! I also know the beauty of little voices in the morning, calling for their mommy-that's ME! I know the sweetness of soft cheeks and cold toes crawling into bed with me-ON TOP of my growing belly to say good morning. At moments, I dream about the days when they can pour their own cereal, allowing me some more shut eye...or better yet, the days when I will be dragging them out of bed at lunch time. But I do realize these days will fly and then I will long for a moment to snuggle for more than 5 seconds!
Thanking God this morning for ALL things, especially early mornings with toddlers and a new attitude to love, cherish and soak in life...in our pajamas.

Girl, I hear ya! :) Early mornings come WAY TO EARLY, but God has blessed us with little ones to keep us company and even when it's early, we must cherish it! :)
Amen Kristy...missing my oldest and would willingly wake up for a 5am hug from him. Make memories...we have many happy memories of early morning time.
I'm all about soaking in these days. Time passes way too quickly...We will blink and suddenly they will be teenagers! Soak it in, girl! We'll drink our coffee while it's still hot one day. :)
