Be careful little eyes what you see!

Today we saw another FREE movie at our local theater. While I do LOVE FREE, I love protecting my little hearts more! We saw All Dogs Go to Heaven Part 2. Seemingly innocent, Beckett said several times, "dis scary". Not what you want to hear from a little person you love. It was a pretty dark movie, filled with a cat disguised as a dog, but was really a "satan-like" character with red eyes and singing songs about how good it feels to be bad.

Some may call me a prude, but I'm proud to hold the title if it means I am shielding my little ones from evil characters and influences, then so be it!

As my journey as a mom continues, I become more and more aware of the details in cartoons, the words spoken, the disrespect from characters to their parents and authority, disobedience with no consequences and outright unacceptable material targeted at MY children.

So, be careful little eyes what you see, for the Father up above is looking down in love, oh be careful little eyes what you see.

That movie is WAYYYY creepy, girl! I got rather concerned when I saw it a while ago. Beckett's concern was well-warranted and "good job" for sheltering what your children see. I really wish more mommies out there were like you! <3
