Our life now!
I am in Bama for a week. Visiting Mia and Papi for a few days, then up to Montgomery to lead a group for Disciple Now at my friend Matt Andress' church. Can't wait.
Beckett will be 2 on Valentine's Day?!?! That was a statement and question. The other night at church, someone said, "give me five", he turned around and slapped their hand. In that moment, I say him as a toddler, not my little baby. Don't get me wrong, he's still a mama's boy. Mama's Boy! And I love it (except at 6:00 when he's clinging to my leg while I cook dinner!) Every day he gets smarter and smarter-all this wisdom IN SPITE of my lack of ability to school him!
We are following God's leading to grow our family through adoption!! FUN NEWS. We have orientation with the State this month and start a 10-week class that is required for all families that foster or adopt in March. We are anticipating GREAT things from God as we will need a minivan for more kids (this excites me!!! this is a big dream for me :) Our house is still on the market (going on 10 months...) But we believe Ephesians 3:20...NOW, to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we can as or imagine...Please pray with us for our home to sell.
Evie is her usual spunky self. Always surprising us with things she says..her insight still amazes me. Brilliance!!
