Oh what a day it was!!! A pixie adventure in our own backyard! We may go overboard on birthday parties, but its soooo much fun!! We had another Gainesville party and Mia came down to help us out---can't pull this kind of this off without her! We had star sandwiches, pirate grapes, green and purple pixie juice, home made purple pixie cupcakes...and lots of other yummy treats. We set up the tailgaiting tent on the porch and decorated the inside with tablecloths, lanterns, ribbon, boas...pretty much anything girly and tinkerbell colors!

Papi started her party morning off with Krispy Kreme (aren't you sad you missed that, Yaya? :) She ate breakfast in her birthday hat from Grandma Nancy. It's such a cool crown hat because you change the number to match the birthday each year!!!! Daddy rigged a really awesome pirate pinata--the first year we have used a pinata. The kids each took a couple of turns. Then it was obvious they needed a little slugger help. I told Zach to tap it a little so it would bust and they could break it open with their next swings....NOOOO! Mr. Baseball gave that pinata a whooping...candy went flying EVERYWHERE. He also busted up some of the party favors! :(
Aunt Danielle came over a little early to help us celebrate and get things set up. Mr. Dave joined us later after his loong hospital shift! We can't wait for Cori Belle to get here to party like a princess with us!
Beckett took an early nap and pretty much missed the ENTIRE party. But, alas, he couldn't get out of dressing up like a little pirate. He was soooo adorable! Evie got lots of fantastic gifts from her friends!! A rockstar dress up outfit (pics to come in a future blog!!! hilarious), snow white, 101 dalmations, sleeping beauty, her OWN camera, totally cute clothes (from MIA, of course!), a tinkerbell pillowcase (from Alexander, Jer and MA...we missed you guys!!!), cool pop up flashcards and a counting book, Rosetta fairy (which she sleeps with now), another round of gymnastics and matching sweatshirt and leotard with her name embroidered!!! SO much fun to see her open them all! She gets her genuine enthusiastic spunk honest!! Every present was JUST WHAT SHE WANTED. She also "read" each card...she actually made up something like, "Evie, have a really great birthday, love Lauren" for example! :)

Oh what a beautiful fairy that lights up our hearts and lives EVERY SINGLE DAY! Thank you God for such a glorious, sweet gift!!

PS...and we took away the Nuk that night...it was rough at first, but things seem to be going well without it now!!! Thanks to Zach for sticking it out with her!
