Several of you have asked (Mama V) about how we are doing since I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. You know, you get on one of those great kicks and are super mom---then you become a slacker and allow the busyness of life to get in the way!

Things are looking better here at home. I am almost done with my 21 day montior and haven't have anymore "events" since being on it. PRAISE GOD! I follow up with the electrophysiologist in a couple of weeks and am praying that she gives me a definitive suggestion on what to do next...hoping that a cardiac cath is not in my future! God has given me great peace about this situation and I believe that this season in my life is coming to a close. He has grown me closer to Him and strengthened my faith through this process.

The kids spent about a week with Nana and Mia and got VERY spoiled in the process...imagine that! I went on the annual women's retreat with our church and had a BLAST hanging out with 2 of my best friends-Emily and Danielle...will post the funny stories and pictures on here as soon as I get them. What a blessing to be able to get away for the weekend and just be ME--not Evie and Beckett's mommy or Zach's wife (not that I don't LOVE that)!

We went to the UCF-SMU game Saturday and cheered our Knights on to victory. Such fun memories being made. Morgan was in town for the weekend since Belmont shut down for the presidential debate that is tonight. (GO MCCAIN!!!!!)

Beckett has started pulling up on everything and giving crawling the ole college try. He almost has it...Evie didn't crawl until 8 1/2 months...I think he is going to have her beat! He will be 8 months old next week---holy cow, where does the time go? And Evie will be 2 next weekend!!!!

He still doesn't hold his own bottle---such a LAZY boy! He did sleep for 12 hours Saturday night and this morning he woke up at 6:45 , but slept all night! What a welcome season coming to our home.

We went to SeaWorld Sunday and Evie got to pet "haffy feet" (as she calls all penguins). We had a blast and will post those pictures soon, too. I didn't take any, so I have to wait for Mia to send them.

until next time...

It sounds like things are shaping up beautifully for you! How exciting and what a relief! Keep us all posted on your health. . .I'm anxious to hear that you've gotten a clean bill of health! Send some "sleep through the night" thoughts from Beckett to Caroline! =)
