Evie is really into saying "CHEEEESE", see the perfect cheese face?! Beckett is starting to look more and more like Zach, which is a great thing considering my husband is the most handsome man in the WORLD!
Such a funny story here...I put her down for a nap this week and a few minutes later, she started screaming...I checked on her and she was in tears, so upset because she had stacked up her stuffed animals in the corner of her crib and the cabbage patch baby wouldn't stay on top! Can we say OCD?!?!
Evie is such a great big sister...she was rocking Beckett to sleep after church at his baby shower! Thanks to my great friend Emily Sorgius for hosting a shower for him! We are so blessed by our wonderful friends!
Yes, there is a story here!
A few weeks ago, I met my mom in Ocala to pick Evie up after she spent a few days in Orlando. We parked at the mall and I got Beckett out, shut the door, and went to the other side to get Evie out. That's when I realized that I had already locked the doors and I handed her the keys to keep her occupied! I ran into Macy's, called security and Evie was crying by the time I got back to the car. Ocala police showed up shortly after and started jimmying the doors...they finally got them open just as Fire Rescue pulled into the parking lot! She was already sweating!! I felt like the worst mom and was just glad we didn't have to break the glass!

That is one of my fears! You are such an awesome mom you always know just what to do!
Oh MY Goodness, I just had a similar incident the other day!!!! I felt horrible! But, I'm glad I'm not the only mom who has done this, haha. The difference is, we were at home! I drove into the garage, opened Aubrey's back door after unbuckling her, and usually she just follows me in the house. Well, I left the door into the house open, and had to run in, to (ahem) visit the restroom. The outside garage door was shut, and I threw the key in the console. While I'm in the rest room, I hear the beep, beep of the car alarm. I run out to the garage to usher Aubrey in, and she had closed her back door, climbed in the front, got the key, and locked herself in! Wow! I felt really bad for not waiting for her.....Luckily I called Neal's sister and her husband for support (they live 5 houses down.) Meanwhile, my great dane escapes out the door and runs down the road!!!! I also called the fire department, but 2 mins before they arrived, we got Aubrey to open the driver's side door! It took us about 10 minutes, but man that was scary.....
I just wanted to share that with you, that you're not the only one who has had this occur! It's the blonde in us?
Sharing fear, and the ability to laugh at ourselves...after we pull a "duh" but everything's ok!
