Happy Mother's Day!

What a wonderful first Mother's Day! Evie feel asleep the night before around 9:00 and slept until the next morning---I actually went and woke her up at 8:30!!!!! That was a great gift! Zach got up and pampered me with breakfast in bed...delicious homemade pancakes, eggs, and fresh fruit!! He also joined me a little while later. What a special treat! I have the world's GREATEST husband and daddy!

Evie thought it was wonderful too...she just wanted to eat the syrup bottle! Look how long she looks in these pictures!!! She is growing fast!

After we enjoyed our breakfast, we went to church where the children handed out flowers to all of the moms during the service. Evie went to the nursery after praise and worship, but was not too happy hanging out with strangers, so 5 minutes later, I had to go and get her and rocked her in the nursing room where I could still hear Pastor Max. We went to Macaronni Grill for lunch and cruised the mall for a bit. It started getting cloudy and then stormed, so we took advantage of the weather and snoozed---I love how she fell asleep on me!

After our much needed nap, we all hung out on the couch where little miss played with her piano (that Mia bought at a garage sale---amazing how the cheap things entertain!) I LOVE this face---notice her shirt...SUNSHINE! She is our little sunshine!!
