So Evie is now 17 weeks old and this has been a week of real milestones!!! She had a weird rash pop up 2 weeks ago and it scared me...little purple dots on her legs. I called the pediatrician and she wanted to see us the next day. Everything was fine, she told us to watch them and if they got worse, she would run a CBC...but they went away, THANK GOD!
While we were at that appointment, we went ahead and got her 4 month shots. She was a trooper. She cried for about 20 seconds (three shots!!) and then was content with her binky. She was 24 and 1/2 inches long and weighed 13 pounds, 8 ounces. She is in the 25th-50th percentile for head circumference and 50th for weight and 50-75th for height. Growing like a weed!!
On Thursday night, February 15th, I put her on my knees while I was doing crunches and she laughed out loud!!! Zach was in the kitchen and came running over..she did it one more time and we got the video camera out, but she didn't do it again! Go figure!!
That same night, she rolled over from her tummy to her back! (that we DID get on video!!!) When she rolled over, she hit Maggie and immediately started crying! It was a lot of growing in one night!!!
Then, Friday night, I was holding her on the couch and discovered a hard bump on her lower gum line..hmmmmm.....yesterday morning, I could actually feel her tooth! Its the middle bottom right...and the one next to it feels like it might come in next!
We tried her on rice cereal on the 9th and she didn't care too much for it! I gave her about one pack over the whole weekend, but then she didn't poop for 7 days! I think it was a little too much fiber at once!
Today I gave her green beans...more to come on that with pictures!!! :)
